Yes, this is one of Edupoint’s biggest strengths. We provide remedial and foundation support, one-to-one guidance, and continuous followup until visible improvement is achieved.
The Edupoint Pre-Cambridge Pathway (PCP) is a foundation programme designed for students who are not yet ready to start the official Cambridge O-Level courses. It acts as a “bridge year” that helps students build strong basics and academic skills before entering the Cambridge syllabus. This programme is offered exclusively by Edupoint.
Students moving up from lower secondary who need confidence before O-Level.
Learners who have learning gaps, weak grammar or numeracy, or difficulty expressing ideas in English.
Starting the Cambridge syllabus too early without solid foundations can cause frustration and poor results later. The Edupoint Pre-Cambridge Pathway ensures that every student:
Understands the basics first.
Develops fluent English, essential for all Cambridge subjects.
Builds study discipline and confidence before O-Level.
Is prepared academically and mentally for success in Cambridge O-Level and HSC examinations.
No! Edupoint’s full-time programme is designed to replace the need for external tuition. Our timetable (8:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.) includes daily lessons, practice sessions, and revision periods.
Edupoint provides remedial and catch-up classes when needed. These sessions help students who joined late, missed lessons, or require extra reinforcement.
When: After regular school hours (3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.) or on selected Saturdays.
Fees:
Short-term remedial sessions (for missed lessons or light reinforcement) are free of charge.
Extended or one-to-one catch-up programmes may include a small additional fee to cover teacher time and resources.
Parents are always informed in advance, nothing is imposed without consent. The goal is to ensure no student is left behind.
Yes — absolutely. Students receive free catch-up and reinforcement help during school hours whenever teachers notice they need extra support. These are not separate paid sessions; they are part of Edupoint’s normal full-day system.
How It Works:
Teachers identify students who are weak in specific topics.
Extra guidance or small-group help is arranged during the day.
Some subjects include built-in “study or revision slots” for clarification.
When It Happens:
During free periods or study time within the 8:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. schedule.
Short review lessons may be added before tests or exams.
No! At Edupoint, students do not have idle time. If a student is not taking a subject, that time is used for remedial or foundation learning (English, Mathematics, or French). Every minute at Edupoint is a learning minute!
Yes, without any doubt. No student can excel at higher levels without a strong foundation.
Why fixing the basics matters:
Weak foundations lead to poor results later.
Cambridge exams test understanding, not memorisation.
Confidence comes from clarity and comprehension.
How Edupoint fixes the basics:
Foundation lessons are built into every subject.
Weak students receive targeted help during the day.
The Edupoint Pre-Cambridge Pathway builds strong basics before O-Level.
The Result:
✅ Faster understanding.
✅ Better English and written expression.
✅ Confident exam performance.
✅ Consistent academic achievement.
That’s why Edupoint’s motto is:
“We Fix the Basics, We Build Success.”
No, for security reasons, students are not allowed to leave the premises during break time. They must bring their own food, drinks, and any personal items they may need for the day.
In the case of an absence, Edupoint will contact the parent or guardian by phone call or SMS to verify the reason for the student’s absence.
